Description
A delicious and easy-to-make Catalan appetizer featuring fresh tomatoes and cured ham.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 4 slices rustic bread
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 slices jamón serrano or prosciutto
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Toast the slices of rustic bread until golden brown.
- Slice the garlic clove in half and rub the cut side on the toasted bread.
- Cut the tomatoes in half and grate them into a bowl, discarding the skin.
- Mix in olive oil and salt to the grated tomatoes.
- Spread the tomato mixture generously on each slice of bread.
- Top with slices of jamón serrano.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
