Description

A delicious and healthy twist on traditional lasagna, featuring zucchinis and tuna.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium zucchinis
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis lengthwise into thin strips.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, tuna, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, layer zucchini strips, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the top layer.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the tuna.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
