Description

This Cherry Matcha Marble Cheesecake combines the rich flavors of cheesecake with the unique taste of matcha and the sweetness of cherries for a stunning dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
  • 1 cup cherry filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and sour cream, mixing until combined.
  4. Incorporate eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition.
  5. Divide the batter in half; to one half, add matcha powder and mix until well combined.
  6. Pour alternating dollops of regular cheesecake batter and matcha batter into the crust, swirling with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  7. Top with cherry filling.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set.
  9. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use high-quality matcha powder.
  • Allow cheesecake to come to room temperature before slicing for cleaner cuts.
