- 1 beef roast
- 200 grams chestnuts, cooked and chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- In a bowl, combine chestnuts, sautéed onions, garlic, thyme, rosemary, breadcrumbs, and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lay the beef roast flat and spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the surface.
- Roll the beef tightly and secure with kitchen twine.
- Place the rolled roast in a roasting pan and bake for approximately 1.5 hours, or until desired doneness.
- Let rest before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the beef overnight.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
