Description

A flavorful chestnut stuffing perfect for the holidays.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup cooked chestnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, chestnuts, onions, celery, parsley, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the vegetable broth and melted butter. Pour over the bread mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Notes

  • This stuffing can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
