Description

Delicious chicken drumsticks with a crispy skin paired with a rich butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the drumsticks and sear until crispy, about 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove the chicken and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
  6. Stir until the butter melts, then return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can broil the drumsticks for the last few minutes.
  • Pair with your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
