Deliciously soft brioches filled with vanilla custard and chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup vanilla custard
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla to the yeast mixture.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape dough into balls and stuff with vanilla custard and chocolate chips.
- Place on baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use milk instead of water for the yeast mixture.
- Serve fresh for the best texture.
