- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Add the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and espresso powder, mixing well.
- Stir in baking soda and salt.
- Add sugar, flour, and cocoa powder, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra chocolate flavor, add more chocolate chips.
- Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
