Description

This decadent banana bread combines the rich flavors of chocolate and espresso for a deliciously unique treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Add the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and espresso powder, mixing well.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt.
  5. Add sugar, flour, and cocoa powder, and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes
