Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk, warm
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate, melted


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast, let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla to the yeast mixture, combine well.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Shape the dough into balls and place on baking sheets, allowing them to rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in melted chocolate.
  7. Once the buns are cool, slice them open and fill with chocolate cream.
