- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole milk, warm
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate, melted
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast, let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla to the yeast mixture, combine well.
- Knead the dough until smooth, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Shape the dough into balls and place on baking sheets, allowing them to rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in melted chocolate.
- Once the buns are cool, slice them open and fill with chocolate cream.
