Ingredients

- 500 grams all-purpose flour
- 100 grams granulated sugar
- 75 grams unsalted butter, melted
- 250 ml milk, warmed
- 15 grams active dry yeast
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 50 grams powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In another bowl, combine the warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Divide the dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet to rise again.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, then let cool.
- Whip the cream with powdered sugar and cocoa powder until soft peaks form.
- Slice open the cooled buns and fill with the whipped cream.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of coffee to the whipped cream.
- These buns can be made ahead and filled just before serving for the best texture.
