Description

Delicious truffles made with rich chocolate and macadamia nuts, dusted with cocoa for a festive treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


Instructions

  1. Chop the macadamia nuts and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer.
  3. Add the chopped dark chocolate to the cream and stir until melted smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and the macadamia nuts.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until firm, about 2 hours.
  6. Once firm, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
  7. Dust the truffles with unsweetened cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter truffle, consider using milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
