- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon

- 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add granulated sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently until well combined.
- Pipe macarons onto the prepared baking sheet and let them rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the feet of the macarons have formed.
- Let the macarons cool completely before filling.
- For the frosting, beat softened butter with powdered sugar and milk until creamy.
- Fill the macarons with frosting and sandwich them together.
