Description

A classic American salad featuring chopped greens, tomatoes, chicken, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, and avocado, often served with a vinaigrette dressing.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup cooked, diced chicken breast
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ cup red wine vinaigrette


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, layer the chopped romaine lettuce as the base.
  2. Arrange the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped eggs, diced avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, and crumbled blue cheese on top of the lettuce.
  3. Drizzle the red wine vinaigrette over the salad.
  4. Gently toss the salad before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize with other vegetables!
  • For a vegetarian version, omit the chicken and bacon.
