A delicious coffee-flavored banana bread topped with a rich espresso frosting.

- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons espresso coffee
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the melted butter.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Gently fold in the flour and brewed coffee until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
- While the bread cools, prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, espresso, and milk until smooth.
- Once the bread has cooled, spread the espresso frosting on top.
Notes
- Ensure your bananas are very ripe for optimal flavor.
- Adjust the amount of espresso in the frosting to taste.
