Description

This Coquito Tiramisu combines the classic Italian dessert with the traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink, creating a rich and creamy treat that’s perfect for celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coquito
  • 1 ½ cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the coquito and cocoa powder.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger into the coquito mixture quickly, then layer in a dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat the layering process, finishing with the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dust with cinnamon and cocoa powder on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
