Description

Delicious mini crab cakes served as sliders for a perfect appetizer or party dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1/2 cup lettuce
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, and lemon juice.
  3. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  4. Place the patties on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing each crab cake on a slider bun with lettuce and tartar sauce.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce to the crab mixture.
  • These sliders can be prepared in advance and refrigerated until ready to bake.
