Description

A delicious blend of sweet cranberries and crunchy pecans wrapped in crispy phyllo dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the phyllo dough and lay one sheet on a clean surface, brushing with melted butter.
  4. Place another sheet on top of the first and brush with butter again.
  5. Spread a line of the cranberry-pecan mixture along one edge of the phyllo.
  6. Roll the phyllo tightly, then cut into pieces.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
