Description
A rich and creamy seafood chowder filled with shrimp, scallops, and clams.
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken or seafood broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup scallops
- 1 cup clams, drained
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add the broth, whisking until smooth.
- Add the diced potatoes and thyme; simmer until the potatoes are tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream, shrimp, scallops, and clams.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
