Description

Deliciously crispy chili oil eggs that are perfect for breakfast or as a snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons chili oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon scallions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot and gently add the eggs. Cook for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.
  2. Remove the eggs and place them in ice water to stop the cooking process.
  3. Once cooled, peel the eggs carefully.
  4. Heat the chili oil in a pan until it’s hot.
  5. Drizzle the hot chili oil over the peeled eggs.
  6. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, and garnish with scallions.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of chili oil to your spice preference.
  • You can also serve these eggs with rice for a hearty meal.
