Description

Delicious crispy fish tacos topped with fresh ingredients and zesty flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  3. Dip each fish fillet in buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture.
  4. Fry the coated fish in the hot oil until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan.
  6. Assemble the tacos with fish, cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  7. Drizzle with sour cream and serve with lime wedges.
