Description

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup cilantro


Instructions

  1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  2. Cube the pressed tofu and coat with cornstarch.
  3. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and fry the tofu until crispy.
  4. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and lime juice to create the sauce.
  5. Combine the cooked rice, crispy tofu, and peanut sauce in a serving dish.
  6. Garnish with chopped peanuts, green onions, and cilantro before serving.
