A rich and decadent dessert combining dark chocolate and cherries for a perfect treat.
Ingredients

- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, heat the cream over low heat until just simmering.
- Remove from heat, and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Fold in dried cherries.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These bars are even better when chilled!
