Ingredients

- 2 cups pitted dates
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the pitted dates and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes until the dates are soft.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the date mixture to a blender, add the vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
