A rich and indulgent chocolate mousse torte that is perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and butter together over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, flour, salt, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until set. Let cool.
- For the mousse, whip heavy cream to soft peaks and fold into the cooled chocolate mixture.
- Spoon mousse over the cooled cake and refrigerate until set.
- Serve chilled with whipped cream on top.
Notes
- For an extra touch, garnish with chocolate shavings or berries.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance.
