Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan with olive oil.

- Whisk in the olive oil until combined, then add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sauté the pears with cinnamon and honey until tender.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving with the spiced pears.
