- 1 ½ cups crushed Oreo cookies
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup black cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend in the sour cream, black cocoa powder, and flour until fully combined.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, whip the heavy cream and top the cheesecake as desired.
Notes
- For a firmer cheesecake, bake a little longer.
- Can be topped with chocolate ganache or berries for added flavors.
