Description

This Double Chocolate Greek Yogurt Banana Bread is a deliciously moist and decadent treat, perfect for breakfast or a snack!


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, mix the baking soda, baking powder, salt, flour, and cocoa powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and pour into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For extra chocolate flavor, add more chocolate chips on top before baking.
