- 100 grams icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the dried fruits with a little flour.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar over low heat until combined.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time.
- Fold in the flour, baking powder, and spices.
- Gently mix in the floured fruits and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into a lined baking tray and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and firm.
- Let cool and prepare the icing by mixing icing sugar with water.
- Drizzle over the cooled cake and let it set before slicing.
