- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
- Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely golden.
- Cool on wire racks.
Notes
- For a festive touch, add white chocolate chips or sprinkles.
