A rich and creamy dessert inspired by the classic espresso martini cocktail.
Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup espresso, cooled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 egg whites
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy.
- Slowly add the cooled espresso and coffee liqueur, stirring until combined.
- In another bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the espresso mixture.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, gently fold into the mousse mix.
- Divide the mousse into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with coffee beans if desired.
Notes
- Ensure the espresso is cooled before adding to the mixture.
- This mousse can be made a day ahead of time.
