Ingredients

- 1 pound salmon, cut into pieces
- 4 cups water
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the potatoes, onion, and carrots. Cook until tender.
- Add the salmon and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cream and dill, and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional dill if desired.
Notes
- This soup is best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice before serving.
