Description

A delightful French dessert featuring strawberries baked in a custard-like batter.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Arrange the strawberries in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the strawberries.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
