Rich, fudgy red velvet brownies topped with cream cheese frosting for a delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir in red food coloring.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
