Description

Delicious star-shaped cookies that are out of this world!


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups colorful sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, mixing until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into star shapes.
  7. Place on baking sheets and sprinkle with colorful sprinkles.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool before serving.
