Description

Deliciously crispy garlic butter cod strips served with a sweet chili lime sauce for a perfect balance of flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cod fillets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Cut the cod fillets into strips and dip each strip into the flour mixture.
  4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Add the cod strips to the skillet and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Place the fried cod strips on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
