Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, coat the cauliflower florets with cornstarch.
  3. In a baking dish, drizzle vegetable oil and add the cauliflower. Bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. While the cauliflower is baking, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sriracha in a bowl.
  5. After 25 minutes, remove the cauliflower and toss it with the sauce.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green onions before serving.
