- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, coat the cauliflower florets with cornstarch.
- In a baking dish, drizzle vegetable oil and add the cauliflower. Bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- While the cauliflower is baking, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sriracha in a bowl.
- After 25 minutes, remove the cauliflower and toss it with the sauce.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the honey and sriracha to taste for sweetness and heat.
- This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
