These Gingerbread Latte Mousse Domes are a delightful, creamy treat that combines the flavors of gingerbread and coffee, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine half of the heavy cream, sugar, coffee, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and heat until warm.
- In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks until pale and thick.
- Gradually add warm cream mixture to egg yolks while whisking.
- Return mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened.
- Dissolve gelatin in water and mix into the creamy mixture.
- Whip remaining heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into mixture.
- Pour into molds and chill until set.
- Unmold and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
- Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg before serving.
