Description

A delicious and creamy scalloped potato dish layered with seasoned apples, perfect for a family gathering or holiday meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, sliced
  • 2 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the potato slices in the dish, followed by half of the apple slices.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and half of the cinnamon.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Pour the heavy cream over the top.
  7. Bake for 1 hour until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
