- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk, matcha powder, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until fully combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger green tea flavor, increase the matcha powder.
- Serve with a drizzle of honey or fresh fruit on top.
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother batter.
