- 2 cups powdered sugar (for buttercream)
- 1/4 cup guava puree (for buttercream)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk egg whites and gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into the meringue.
- Pipe circles on parchment paper and let them rest.
- Bake at 300°F for 15-20 minutes.
- For buttercream, beat softened butter then add powdered sugar, guava puree, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pipe buttercream on half of the macarons and sandwich together.
