A delightful and spooky treat perfect for Halloween, featuring baked Brie cheese wrapped in puff pastry with a bloody raspberry preserve topping.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of Brie cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1/4 cup of raspberry preserves
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth it out.
  3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry.
  4. Drizzle the honey over the Brie, then spread the raspberry preserves on top.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped rosemary over the preserves and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the Brie, sealing it completely. Trim any excess pastry if necessary.
  7. Place the wrapped Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with the beaten egg to give it a golden color when baked.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
