Indulge in these healthy Twix bars made with natural ingredients that satisfy your sweet tooth without the guilt!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, salt, and mix well.
  2. Add maple syrup, peanut butter, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined.
  3. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly to form the base.
  4. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes to set.
  5. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Remove the base from the fridge and pour the melted chocolate over the top, spreading it evenly.
  7. Return to the fridge for another 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  8. Cut into bars and serve!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Feel free to substitute almond flour for oat flour if preferred.
