Description

These Healthy Twix Cookie Cups are a delicious and fun treat that mimic the classic candy bar but with healthier ingredients!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup nut butter of choice
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt to form a dough.
  3. Press the dough into the bottom of each cupcake liner.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let cool.
  5. In a food processor, blend the dates until smooth, then mix in the nut butter.
  6. Spread the date mixture over the cooled cookie cups.
  7. Melt the dark chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
