Description

Delicious herb and cheese stuffed puff pastry bites perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, about 3 inches each.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, basil, and garlic powder.
  5. Place a small spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling to form triangles and seal edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
