Description
A delightful and fragrant jelly made from hibiscus flowers, infused with rose, lemon, and vanilla flavors.
Ingredients

- 2 cups hibiscus flowers
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 packet pectin
Instructions
- In a pot, combine hibiscus flowers and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid to remove flowers and return to pot.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, rose water, and vanilla extract. Stir to dissolve sugar.
- Once dissolved, add pectin and bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Great as a spread on toast or as an ingredient in desserts.
- Check consistency; for a thicker jelly, add more pectin.
- Use fresh hibiscus for the best flavor.
