Description

Delicious almond-filled cookies perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup almond paste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar.
  3. Mix in flour and salt until dough forms.
  4. Press dough into mini muffin tins.
  5. In another bowl, mix almond paste, eggs, and almond extract.
  6. Fill each crust with almond mixture.
  7. Top with sliced almonds.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  9. Let cool before serving.
