Description

Delicious honey-glazed turkey meatballs enriched with sage butter, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with fresh sage until fragrant.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the sage butter.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
  • These meatballs can be frozen after baking for later use.
