- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 6-8 pounds)
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 10 whole cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, ground cloves, black pepper, and cinnamon.
- Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and insert whole cloves into the intersections.
- Brush the honey-mustard mixture all over the ham, reserving some for glazing.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover loosely with foil.
- Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the reserved glaze.
- Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes of baking for a caramelized finish.
- Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
