Description

Hot Honey Chicken Tenders are crispy, juicy chicken tenders coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar


Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture and shake off excess.
  5. Place chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. In a saucepan, mix hot honey and apple cider vinegar over low heat until warmed.
  8. Toss baked chicken tenders in the hot honey sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes to the hot honey sauce.
  • These can be served with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
