Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the arepa flour and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Let the dough rest for about 5-10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into round discs.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil.
- Cook the arepas for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before slicing open and filling as desired.
